BenchmarX'09 will be held in conjunction with DASFAA'09 conference in Brisbane, Australia. It is scheduled on April 20, 2009.

- Mar 12, 2010 - The proceedings were indexed by Thomson Reuters in
- Aug 28, 2009 - DASFAA workshop proceedings were published electronically

- Mar 20, 2009 - paper abstracts were added to the list of Accepted Papers
- Mar 19, 2009 - it is our great pleasure to announce that dr. Stephane Bressan from the National University of Singapore has accepted our invitation and will give us a talk on Current Approaches to XML Benchmarking - see the final Program
- Mar 17, 2009 - Program draft of the workshop was prepared
- Mar 10, 2009 - Camera Ready instructions were provided
- Mar 9, 2009 - the notification of acceptance/rejection was sent; 40% of submitted papers were accepted (see the list of Accepted Papers)
- Feb 9, 2009 - author registration was set on March 20, 2009; notification of acceptance was extended to March 8, 2009
- Feb 1, 2009 - paper submission was closed; the review process started
- Jan 25, 2009 - abstract and paper submission was extended to January 30, 2009 (Final deadline!!)
- Jan 4, 2009 - abstract and paper submission was extended to January 25, 2009
- Dec 15, 2008 - a FaceBook group BenchmarX was created for all those interested in the workshop
- Dec 12 - first submission for BenchmarX'09
- Nov 30, 2008 - a LinkedIn group BenchmarX was created for all those interested in the workshop
- Nov 27, 2008 - to ensure high objectivity of the paper selection process, three PC chairs representing different institutions and countries were selected from PC (see Program Committee)
- Nov 18, 2008 - second CFP
- Oct 6, 2008 - information on proceedings and registration was updated, submission system was opened, first CFP
- Aug 31, 2008 - workshop web site was set up
